Memory & privacy
How SLINK remembers, and how you stay in full control of your data.
Memory
SLINK keeps a memory per account — details that matter to you like your name, preferences and work context — to answer better. You control it fully: view, edit or clear it anytime.
What we collect
- Device identifier: a random number to tell your guest session apart; not tied to your name or number.
- Conversation content: messages and attachments are sent to the SLINK server and then to the model provider to generate replies, with a copy stored on your device.
- Connected services: encrypted access tokens; we only read what you ask.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers.
- We don't track you across other apps or sites.
- We don't require an account to use the app as a guest.
Who we share data with
With the AI model providers, to generate replies only. The live list is always in the app: Settings → Data & Privacy → "Message processing", shown and consented to before your first message.
Deletion
- Delete chats: Settings → Data & Privacy → "Delete all conversations".
- Delete account: Settings → Account → "Delete account" — removes your account and all its data permanently and immediately.
